What one thing about your significant other drives you bananas?
Hmm... One thing that drives me bananas about my significant other would have to be when we are watching television particularly something that I have picked out tho watch. He sits on the other couch, and constantly makes snide little comments under his breath the entire time the show is on. For instance On Lip Stick Jungle Nico cheats on her husband, and well my husband is calling her bad names or saying she is going to get what is coming to her. Most of the time I find it funny but sometimes I just want to say "Michael shut up already!"
So today I am watching a story about how paparazzi sometimes overstep their boundaries, and take objectionable shots of our dear celebutantes. Some of the examples given were of photographs with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears with no panties on.
Hmm....well let me tell you I have never been in my car and been like "oh dear I forgot to put panties on again." (It is not like these ladies (if you can call them that) do not know they are being followed around by 10,000 photog's, or can not feel that their skirts are up around their waists. They get this picture snapped and then want to play the victim when this crap gets sold to a gossip magazine. My advice would be act like a lady and put on some panties and maybe compose yourself before exiting a car where all these lights are flashing.
Some say they feel sorry for the people hounded by the paps but you know there is a price for fame and fortune. Yes, I sometimes feel a little empathetic when divorces or child custody hearings are played out in the media but then I am just thankful that is not me. I did snag this photo off of some website so here is credit~popdish.com
In honor of Johnny Appleseed Day, show us a tree.
Pests and disease threaten the Smokies' ecosystem. Currently the most visible and serious threat is the balsam woolly adelgid. The small wax-covered insect attacks the Park's Fraser fir trees. The fir overreacts to the feeding adelgids, clogging its transport tissues. Trees die within five years of infection. Other pests and diseases affecting park ecosystems include chestnut blight, southern pine beetle, and dogwood anthracnose. The future promises additional problems. Gypsy moths, currently near the Virginia-Tennessee border threaten oak forests with total destruction. The hemlock woolly adelgid could eliminate Park hemlocks, and destroy the entire forest type. Both pests came from Europe.
I am highly interested to know where we as humans came from. So what is your theory on human evolution? How did we get here and where did we come from.
So many different things run through my head from sci-fi theory's~ like something out of the movies (The Island comes to mind) to God made us, and then there is the theory we evolved from primates, but then that makes me ask the question why are there still primates? I've always heard that humans can not adapt like animals can so how did we go from one form to the next, and where is the fabled missing link where we made the final jump from primate to man?
Ever since my overactive mind has taken total control this has made my faith struggle I want to believe in God, and the whole heaven and hell theory but science sometimes kills that for me. Because science is a hard thing to dispute with all the facts and concrete evidence.
I believe evolution is the best way to explain how we got here. Saying God put us here doesn't really... read more
